If you want to save, check out ebay - going through ebay also allows you to purchase a warranty through Squaretrade.
Ton of good 360 auctions but you have to be dedicated in your search and bid last second.
I found a system for a friend recently - 360 Pro with 20gb, 2 wireless controllers, 1600 point card for live, headset, and 7 games for 225 after shipping. Two year warranty through squaretrade after coupon (google for coupon codes) was 25 bucks.
It's pretty damn good considering the 2 year warranty.
