Standing up and flinging my arm about in a game like Wii Sports seems to me to be a much greater way acquiring repetitive stress injuries than does using a 360 or PS3 controller especially if you are expected to do so for the length of an epic game -- if I'm going to play Zelda: Twilight Princess, I'm going to do it in the comfort of an easy chair with a gamepad, so that I don't have to emulate all of Link's sword fighting, etc, because those things are for Link and not me to do...too much work. And, I find it to be much more appealing to my sensibilities to eat a bag of popcorn while playing a popcorn game like Gears of War or Halo than is the idea of playing Wii Fit in an attempt to mold myself into some acceptable version of what Nintendo Corporation thinks I should be.

RSI is acquired through tensing muscles for prolonged periods, and causes damage to tendons. Seeing as Wii is supposedly a bastion of casual gaming, it's very doubtful that using the Wiimote can cause this. The worst that could happen is muscle aches the day after, which is a sign of the muscle fibres repairing themselves after intensive exercise.

This can't even happen with a regular game controller unless you're gripping the thing as though you're trying to crush it, and / or holding it in an uncomfortable position for hours on end, day after day. Please don't trivialise this serious condition to support your argument against a company you don't like.
