Pacifica is Mario Kart for the PS3 only better graphics, better physics and better smashes -
Mario Kart has an attachment of ~7million in 30 million , Pacifica will do similar on PS3 - so expect ~3.5 million (around half the sales of mario Kart Wii).
It may be higher as unlike nintendos platform there are less casual games on Ps3 to compete with so could go 4+ mill - When Sony bought evolution studios they picked a winner.
Motorstorm Demo is often used for promoting PS3 in stores because it attracts people and plays well. Pacifica is the first full price game >$20 i will buy since purchasing my combination blu-ray player/room convection heater.
Re: Resistance it's total crap you can't use a mouse and it's motion support is a joke, even the very worst FPS games on the PC have vastly superior gameplay thanks to the mouse and keyboard support. FPS games and thumb controllers just don't work together.
