No. I asked them myself .... but if you don't want to pay for repairs, you could just put the 360 close to an enclosed area with other eletronics that produce alot of heat (PS3) and RROD it "manually". Then maybe they'll send you another 360 instead of the old.

If your X360 is now three years old and outside the warranty period. Buying a new X360 console would be cheaper than repairing it.

Do the new X360 consoles have improved DVD drives as well as fewer hardware failure rates?
