i honestly despise it when people say that execution is wrong. Execution has been a means to rid of unjustice for a long time. It brings fear to those who are about to commit such crime as rape and murder, and those who come to America(legal or illegal) are bound to the law of the country and of the Lord Almighty

Actually in a secular state (ie. America) they aren't bound by the law of the Lord Almighty so yeah. Also I have seen no conclusive studies stating that the capital punishment works as a deterrent against crime.

Just to be clear, you're willing to spend your tax dollars (more likely your parents) to help feed and clothe this man for the rest of his life because he murdered somebody?

I'm sorry, even if you are "sick" even if there is something wrong with you, once a killer, always a killer. Where is the justice in either A) Letting this man walk the streets again or B) Supporting him for the rest of his life in prison?

Where's your sense of morality there?

even criminals have a right to live, all be it behind bars where they are no longer a threat to society

Tell me, where is the justice in having our tax dollars and the tax dollars of the families who suffered support that man for the rest of his life? If you can answer me that, I'll leave this alone.

if you commited a crime, you would want to live would you not, that should be enough answer for anyone

It's not about the killer! They lost their right to decide something like that the second they took someone else's life and all the decisions that come with it. I wouldn't commit murder. Especially not a gang rape and murder like this guy.

We're not talking about executing a guy for stealing power tools here. Murder. Slightly different in my book.

how is the governements killing him any different to him killing people? theyre both murder, theyre both wrong, two wrongs do not make a right, also does killing him bring his victims back to life?

But that wasn't my question.

My question was this:

How does supporting this man with our tax dollars and the tax dollars of these families qualify as justice?

because putting him in jail is still justice, he is being kept away from society so he cant harm anyone else
