You got him there.  The only series that you listed that don't sell in the West are Monster Hunter and Tales(for the most part anyway).  Some of the other ones sell 500K or more in the West(Star Ocean and Dragon Quest) and others are multimillion sellers in the West(Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts)

 

I forgot about Kingdom Hearts. ToS sold pretty well in the west, and I expect the same from ToS Dawn of the new world, and ToV. It really doesn't matter though, because I don't really think it has to sell well in the west to be mainstream unless we are only counting the west. I'm pretty sure WW sales matter more when talking about Mainstream unless you specify a region.
