The 2012 thing is even stupider...a calendar from a dead civilization, dictating nothing really, just the end of a calendar...and that'll be the end of the world? I predict it'll be stories of a few nutjobs either committing suicide or killing someone else because they go crazy, and the world will go on.

Actually, the Bible Code says that a comet will impact with the Earth in 2012.

But the bible code is stupid. Basically, you take the letters and put them in grid form. Then you choose a section of the grid. Next, you form a random pattern that predicts something. Literally. You start with a letter then do like 5 up, 4 down, 1 left or 7 up, 3 right, 3 down, 6 left and repeat it like that until it forms something that is barely a coherent thought. Anything like that. I could find a pattern that says "Hitler will be resurrected 3 weeks ago" or "Anyone with a shoe size over fifteen is a cannibalist".
