Disc consumption is something different all together. With disc sales being well below US Disc sales. Combined they don't equal what DVDs sold in the US alone at this point.
Worldwide combined numbers likely don't match DVD disc sales at this point unless asia accounts for 70%+ of all blu-ray disc sales.
