i currently have 600 dollars. i want to get a 360 or a ps3. i dont have a job so i wont get any money until christmas. i intend to spend all/most of the money on the console. if i got a 360 i would want to get live to play with my cousin. most of the games i want to get are multi-platform games. they are nhl 09, cod4/5, fifa 09 and and the rest im unsure.i would only get a few games at first then more at christmas. if i got a 360 i would get the elite. of i got the ps3 i would get the 40 gig. if i got a ps3 i would want backward compatability with ps1 and 2 games (if thats possible.) so my question is if you were in my position which console would you get, why? and which exclusives would you want for your console?
EDIT: i would also be VERY interested to get a netflix membership and watch it over my 360 and i would also be VERY interested in getting a blu-ray player so i can have it in the future. |
I didn't read what other poster said.... but if you like multi player and your cousin plays a lot online too and has similar taste than you in games and you get along well with him that's a good point in favor of the 360.... if it's the only one he has..... now it depends for what you are going to use it... if you need it for an HD multimedia platform then go for the PS3 especially if you plan on using BR... but don't buy a PS3 for the future of BR.... because it won't be the format of choice of tomorrow... DC is... someone that doesn't see that is blind....
personnaly in your case if it's not to play often with your cousin I'd go for the cheapest deal I can get, it doesn't really matter which one... netflix offer is more future proof than BR or any physical support will ever be for that matter though...
