When will Microsoft ditch gamertag?

hum OK what about if we totally reject the Idea of Sim's, avatar, Mii's or whatever ????
and I'd rather have my phone number be a gamer tag than a number.... so the analogy is good but that makes it that much more retarded.... phones are last century technology.....
