Besides, where would you need an search function when you have the friendcode? But i want to play agains blonde Miis. 2. There are same looking people all around and there are lots of various possibilities to what a Mii can look like (tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions maybe). Twroo for example has one of the most personal looking Miis. 3. So? If we don't have hundreds of people in the same game simultanously, i don't think too often there would be (atleast not too many) Miis with same names. And i don't think changing Miis is anymore confusing than changing gamertag. |
1. You brought up Miis as a counter on my initial point that friend codes are different for different games. It has everything to do with friendcodes as a universal representation as you said and I was pointing out why you overrated Miis.
My point about the search was you cant use the Mii picture or avatar as a way to locate your new friends. Say I want to add you as a friend on my list, I cant take your Mii picture and add you.
2/3. Changing gamertags are very rare because MS charges to do it and rightly so. This makes it a very stable system and you can never have the same gamertag name, the system doesnt allow it. This is a far cry from people changing their Miis very often.
Anyways Im done discussing. If you are more happy with your friendcodes than great but I can assure you 99.9% of Xbox Live members would not want friend codes instead of gamertags. Even Iwata-san has publically said the friendcode system is not perfect and he wants to develop it further.
