Or you could just not fight them.  I skipped them wherever possible; I'd rather be progressing the story than fighting "random" battles.

How so?

I actually liked Disgaea 2 but seeing as I didn't actually delve deeper into the gameplay because of one thing.

I can't actually find a way to level them up.It's too much of a hastle. They changed somethings such as the levelling style. Felonies replaced Statistician(i think) which makes it a pain to level. I actually want to delve deeper but the changes turned me off.

 

I judge my RPGs by the time I spent on it and still having fun. I finished Disgaea 2.. but I couldn't go and push myself to enjoy and complete it like Disgaea AoD.
