When will Microsoft ditch gamertag?

Ok, now I understand you a bit..
First I was like.. Are you cracy..
To have a phone number (friend code) system instead of a gametag, then you can have a name and a nickname you can use in games..
Seem to make sense..
Altho' I like the gametag system, as I use the same name on forums an email.
