Ugh, it's such a horrible game.

The actual gameplay isn't bad, but the problem is that it tries to be kind of like an action game and it isn't nearly as good as any decent action game out there.

As for everything else, it just fails miserably so where should I start (mind you that I haven't played this game in much more than a year).

The story-- other than being a terrible knockoff it just isn't interesting. I tried twice to get into this game and both times got about 16 hours into the game and was just bored to tears. I know you could say I didn't play it enough but if the game hasn't grabbed my attention in 16 hours it just isn't going to happen or either that's a terrible story if it takes that long to get good.

The characters-- boring. None of the characters were actually interesting and on top of that, most of them didn't even have a reason for being there. Vaahn had no reason to be there, Pinnelo was just as worthless, the pirate and bunny girl had no reason to be there, and the only ones that had reasons I just didn't care about their characters. It's like the game tried to make me not like or care about them.

Gambits-- awesome idea, poor execution. By the time you finally start getting good gambits you've just stopped caring. If they would just let me have all (or at least most) options from the beginning instead of making my character start out sucking on auto pilot and gradually getting better it would have been a great system.

License grid-- dumbest idea ever. You had absolutely no reason to make your characters different so they all wound up using the same weapons and spells. Way to make your characters even more generic.

I know I had plenty of other gripes about the game but I'm sure that's enough. Someone bother Naz, he'll write a two page long rant on why this game is terrible.
