Can't blame them for money.  Next-gen is a bit expensive and Sony / MS is eating the cost of ushering in this era while Nintendo found a way around it.  You couldn't do this back then, you had to enter the 16-bit arena to compete graphically.

 As a PS3 fan obviously I'd rather play a lot of those games on PS3 instead of the Wii.  Tales of Symphony would look so much nicer on a PS3 right?  (Then again Shamco seems to shave costs for everything so I should probably expect PS2 graphics)

In the end the PS3 won't die, but a lot of games will go to the Wii since it's cheaper.  It'll hold onto all the games whose visual appeal requires hidef.  And I'll have to be content that it'll be another decade before the hi-def standard becomes universal.
