I've had the game a week now but haven't had much time to play it. I'm really digging it, but I'm not sure I like the way they've organized Ivy's stances and abilities.

Ivy's my favorite character, but I think I'm missing a lot of crucial attacks that need to be fast + shift you into the correct stance for a good followup or range attack.... or they're just missing.

Ivy has been totally overhauled. She's like a new character. Some of Mitsurugi's moves have been altered as well and his most useful unblockable attack was removed (the horizontal qcb square move that hits three times). Perhaps they thought it was cheap.

Yeah, the first two characters I went to play were Ivy and then Mitsurugi.  Hopefully it's just a matter of finding the right abilities to link stances, because otherwise I will probably have to pick a new character to play as my main :(  I was also disappointed that it seems her 'extend' ability doesn't have the option to drag left or right if someone is trying to sidestep/run at you.  And the fact that its limited only to the loose extended stance, and you can't perform it with the sword in compact mode.

I've met some badass Ivy users online. I say pick one character and master them before branching out. I think I'm almost at 100% Mitsurugi mastery. I have situations to use almost every move he has.
