I have a friend who's in. An actual friend, not an in-game acquaintance. I stopped playing about six months ago.

I think the expansion will be fun. The best time I had in WoW was the week after Burning Crusade came out. Tons of new content, and a huge, beautiful new world to explore. The best players were at the forefront, putting together PUGs to get quests done and clear instances.

At level cap things hit a hard plateau and started to slide down until I got sick of raiding Serpentshrine like it was a part-time job.

Much like many lessons which Blizzard learned from the original game were applied in Burning Crusade, I think a lot of lessons were learned in Burning Crusade and will be applied in Lich King. There will be a lot of tweaks, nerfs and buffs in the first couple patches, I'm sure, but I also think the experience will be even better than that week long rush I got from Burning Crusade.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing
