Dolla you have to remember that Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world. If they have product x selling better on day y that would means sales of product z would be up not just on amazon but on other online sites and at B&M stores.

My whole argument is against this. Because it's number one on Amazon does not mean it is doing well on other online sites, and it definitely doesn't prove it's doing well in Brick and Mortar stores either. That's why I'm saying Amazon is irrelevant.

Amazon obviously doesn't have an ample supply of Wiis, so it is selling less than the PS3. The majority of stores in NA don't have ample supply of the Wii, so does that mean the PS3 is outselling the Wii in NA? No, it doesn't.

I have no problem conceding that right now the PS3 is outselling the Wii and the 360 on Amazon. Top sellers proves it. My argument is simply that this doesn't translate to the PS3 selling well elsewhere. That's all.

Edit: To add to this argument, on Amazon the PS3 outsells the Wii, PS2, PSP, and even the DS Lite. This doesn't translate well across the board at all.

Actually, my post was saying that it is usually an indicator of how it is selling everywhere else.  I am not saying amazon is the perfect indicator but it is certainly a lot more useful than your trolling complaints say it is.
