We lead, not follow
All companies take ideas from each other. Are you telling me trophies aren't just achievements? Motion control in the SixAxis wasn't inspired by the Wii Remote in any way? Custom soundtracks? Who cares if they copy if people get features that add to the system and make gameplay more enjoyable. They shouldn't be so arrogant about it.
