As far as the main games are concerned...

FF X - I love the story, I love the characters, the way battle worked was a MASSIVE improvement over the last turn-based formulas. First FF I ever finished, but not the first I ever played.

FF XII - I am a huge Ivalice fan. I love that entire FF universe. The stylistic qualities of the game were amazing. The MMO-style active battles were a fresh look at the FF formula, and the sheer size of the overworld was magnificent. Still playing it now. At about 45 hours in I estimate I am about halfway through the game.

FF VIII - This was pretty cool. The story was a bit rough, but the characters were much better developed than in FF VII. You definitely feel like your choices as far as who goes where and what you do next actually impact the game. Stuck in the last area of the game because my Disc 4 is scratched and it takes about 5 minutes to load a single room.

FF VII - This game was great for its time, the second FF game I ever beat. The storyline was VERY well-written, but the characters were flat. I feel like I'm betraying myself by placing this game so high, not because this game was particularly bad, but because of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII series. The game was not that good. It was nowhere near good enough to warrant an entire series of bad movies and bad spin-off games.

FF VI - I'm nowhere near finishing this game, but it's coming along well, and i can definitely see why people love this one so much. The story is pretty interesting, and I do like the intertwining stories running through it.

FF IV - Good story, good selection of characters. Fun game. Still haven't beaten it, Zeromus is way the hell too hard.

FF III

FF V

FF I

FF II

FF IX - Played a little of it, didn't really interest me.

FF XI - Was already uninterested when it came out. Heard about it from people afterwards and decided that I was not going to touch the thing.
