Alan Wake will be published and distributed by Microsoft Game Studios. Sad that this kind of thing must be reiterated when a manufacturer publishes a title said title will remain exclusive to that manufacturers console period end of story. There is no might or could be when it comes to games this as close to cut into stone as you will get. The only way this scenario could unfold differently would be fore Remedy to purchase back their publishing rights, and for them to find a new publisher or publishers. Not an inexpensive proposition considering how much Microsoft has likely contributed to the project.
From all appearances the two have a good working relationship. Microsoft isn't trotting Remedy out on the show room floor, and is giving them the kind of schedule that will let them see their vision fulfilled. Given the development cycle on Alan Wake one would suspect that Microsoft is very generous as well. That said I suspect that the next title from Remedy would very likely be a 360 exclusive as well. To me it looks like remedy found itself a golden goose.
