Instead of saying "the Wiimote is a fad" he could have said "Nintendo's controller is proving to be successful for their platform, but it wouldn't necessarily work on ours"

Instead of saying "we don't want the senior citizen group" he could have said "we're happy that Nintendo brought new people to the gaming world, and we intend to take advantage of that, along with our own initiatives for broadening our userbase".

If you're a Sony investor and look at this interview, what will you think? Most likely, you'll assume that SCE's management has gone mad.

 

 

Well said.  I would actually think it would be worse if he didn't try to spin the PS3 into a more positive position but that can be achieved in a more professional manner.  Currently he comes across no better than a random PS3 fanboy on the internet.
