For what you get for a last gen console, unless you just don't want the clutter of old consoles sitting in storage, selling on is barely worth the bother.
Trading in an old console for a handful of dollars towards another game doesn't make much sense either unless you just wanted to get rid of it. In which case, it's friendlier to the environment than just throwing it into a landfill.
If you still have a bunch of PS1 and PS2 games, I'd hang onto it as a secondary or back up system.
