Game of the year 2007

I would actually love Zelda to win game of the year, not because it's a great, but because it's a handheld.

In all honesty though I think the contest for game of the year 2007 will be an incredible contest. All three consoles have some very big heavy hitters and they are all releasing around the same time. It will be interesting just to see what games make it on the ballet since they usually limit it to, what, 4?

And I'm talking about the Game Developers Choice Awards, the only ones that really matter.

And my personal list for what the 4 entrants will be in no particular order:

1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
3. Mass Effect
4. Assassin's Creed

Those seem to me are going to be the games that really stand out this year each for different reasons.  Not saying those other great games for all three systems (Halo 3, Heavenly Sword, Metroid 3, ect) aren't going to be incredible games, but I think those four are going to be the best.
