Basically, " we don't want growth in the industry just want the people who bought us last gen to keep buying our brand"
Seriously what kind of attitude is that haha. We don't want more buyers haha. We want the exact same as last time.
And the only reason they say fad is because they are building off mass media bullshit to help position themselves publicly ahead and above the Wii. Don't blame Sony for using it... blame those biased mass media sites trying to knock the Wii down every single moment with their obvious bullshit articles.
Haha you know your console is a threat when people go to all ends of the world to try and put it down. Nintendo should take it as flattery.
