Carmack? In the interview he said PS3 games took his team like twice the work.
So either your putting twice the manpower on it... or it's taking twice as long to make.
Either way... that equals twice the time in manpower hours. That's what matters. A PSN game could take just as long as uncharted... but the PSN game only has like 5 guys working on it.
Of course that's likely only true for developers that are more PC/Power arictecture friendly the Cell friendly.
Which granted is like, every developer not Sony first party. But in a lot of cases it's probably more 1.5 or 1.3 times manpower.
That's the thing though Xenon runs unoptimized code really well. PS3 doesn't. Which means... you need to spend extra time optimizing code for the PS3 version.
