I've been wondering about this. Even post-largish price cut, the Xbox 360 simply isn't cutting mustard versus the PS3 in Europe.
IF (and thats a big IF) Sony manages a price cut in Europe this year, Microsoft is going to get SLAUGHTERED if they don't have their own cut.
