What wrong with Evangelion?

Everything after the Cruel Angel's Thesis intro song ends through the credits. 

Except for a couple of episodes around the time Asuka joins which were awesome and win.  Sadly they were short-lived.

Why did you watch the whole thing then? I doesn't make any sence, Whe Asuka joins, it was probably like episode 8-9, Why watch 15 episodes more if you didn't like it??

I had heard it was the "must-see" anime.  I watched the first 10 episodes or so hoping that it would pick up (and because the intro song is awesome).  It picked up a lot when Asuka came on board.  That lasted for 2-3 episodes before the show flushed her potential down the proverbial toilet.

I figured it was downhill from there, but watched the rest simply to say that I had.  Besides, I feel the same way about anime as I do video games.  If you haven't been through the whole thing, you don't really have a right to criticize the whole thing.

Plus it was free as it was borrowed from the library.  ^_^

So, what exactly didn't you like?
