Some of the games on the PS3 are definitely beautiful, graphically, and it is possible that some games such as Uncharted are good showcases for the graphical prowess of the PS3, but just how much better are the graphics than what's available on the 360? Is it a small difference (Mass Effect vs. Uncharted)? Is it a quantum leap as in GT4 vs GTP5?
I would have to say it's the former, and even then it requires a careful examination to really determine the difference. Also, what does having somewhat nicer graphics translate into as far as video game or console sales are concerned? Is MGS4 dramatically outselling Uncharted because it has better graphics? I doubt it... people are buying MGS4 in droves because it has a bigger fan base and is a more compelling title. Halo blew away Uncharted in sales, so what did having "great" graphics do for Uncharted?
So, when an exec from Sony, MS, or Nintendo claims their console has feature X that will cause angst for the competition, I say "show me the money."

that is true, graphics isnt everything... mostly gameplay but games that look better tend to sell more.

I dunno i just learn from psychology that people would rather have nice then vulgar. Its not like everything is 100% true, I do love graphics but i would be swayed if the game sucked.
