I wouldn't mind if ONE Mac owner would admit they bought because it made them feel special or they liked the way it looked, but they never say that they say it was such a good deal... it included all this software.

Well... I can't say it... I'm a graphic Designer so I have to use a mac because Windows does a bad job in off-set printing.. but one thing that I like about the mac is installing software.. where Windows trows thousands of files everywhere.. most mac applications are using just one file.. (which contains al the files for the program) it leaves you with a much cleaner computer.. and that it doesn't constantly asks if you are sure that you want to do something...

You are not the average Mac consumer.  I am not talking about their Pro Computers, I am talking about their Personal Computing Bread and Butter Home Crap.

@Rocketpig: You are right, linux users are worse.

In all fairness, you'll have a damned hard time finding software that compares to iLife when it comes to home multimedia creation geared for the average intrawebtard... In fact, I'd say it's nigh impossible. The suite is bloody excellent in every regard.

Shit, I even use it for professional work occasionally. It's really a brilliant bit of software from Apple that comes free with every new Mac (though you obviously pay the Apple premium when you buy the computer... Cupertino is mighty proud of that logo). I haven't found anying in the PC world that comes close to competing with it.
