I will tell you what is going to happen in this. Since we know these two so well by seeing thirty seconds of their life we are compelled to judge them. Then we will mock them, side with one party, and laugh at their perceived idiocy. Under normal circumstances they may not even behave in such a fashion.

We just know a sliver of the reality. For all we know the girl may be very hard to please. Perhaps the guy lavishes her with attention, and any moment he is not doing so she gets extremely jealous. Perhaps they both get off on mutual antagonism. Perhaps she is merely taking out other frustrations on him. In other words him hanging out with his friends may be the excuse. Perhaps the reason they are not going out is financial.

Whatever the reasons thirty seconds of a guy egging the girlfriend on into doing something drastic while she has been drinking is hardly indicative of anything other then lowbrow amusement. I have seen dozens of these videos and while it is amusing to us I am sure in hindsight they were probably not very productive of helpful. Damaging property is not a healthy outlet for frustrations. They never resolve anything, and more often then not escalate the problems.

The only thing I can think about when I see these videos is that the person destroying things is not going to get what they want. In fact they are probably going to get the opposite. Western society is very materialistic so when you destroy our property you have really attacked us indirectly. Attacking your partner is not the path to a healthy relationship.

Think about it had she gone into the room, and started to bawl in front of him and his friends the party would have been over. A few tears would have been by far more effective then a baseball bat. What could he have done other then concede unless he was a real heartless bastard. Even then his friends would have probably straightened him out. The next hour would have been dude your girl is crying man.
