Make abortion and welfare illegal lower taxes for everyone and get rid of many useless government programs. People can handle themselves and you don't need the government to come save you every time a hurricane katrina or whatever comes through. The great San Francisco Fire and Earthquake of 1906 completely wiped out a lot of the city and yet they rebuilt in without government aid. Another example is the great Chicago fire of 1871 in which much of Chicago was burned down, and what do you know, Chicago is now a thriving mega-city without government aid to fix everything. I would shift government focus to where it needs to be, foreign policy and military. All domestic issues and anything like that should be taken care of by the states. Also I would remove all coal burning power plants in the United States and replace them all with new nuclear power plants obliterating 99% of all air pollution in the United States and making the U.S. have the cleanest air in the entire world. I would then allow offshore drilling of Oil in places with liberals such as Bill Clinton have banned it so that we can have cheap gas prices until technology has advanced enough that it would actually be reasonable to switch to Hydrogen powered vehicles.
Also the minimum wage can be abolished because all raising the minimum wage does is make the poor stay the same but make the rich get poorer. It's the Democratic party's trick to try and turn the United States into a communist country so that they can be the total rulers. It's not like if there was no minimum wage people would only be payed 1 cent an hour. It would balance out because companies would then have to compete for workers do to the wages of each other. At the moment all companies can just agree to only pay their workers the minimum so that there isn't a fight for who has better wages.
