Playstation fans should identify themselves with this. I remember playing on an upside-down PS1 at a friend's place, and I remember people who bought more than one PS2. The former is no big deal (although a bit ridiculous), but the latter is clearly worse than getting RROD.

I remember that... My PS1 did just fine, but my PS2 gave me the DRE after about 5 years (It was a launch system). My friend had it worse though, his first PS1 just died, his dog... urinated on his second one (never kept his consoles near the floor after that), his first PS2 DRE'd, and his second one is in the process of dying. I think its because of this that he's kinda not keen on getting a PS3 or 360.

OT: I've never owned a 360 (mainly because almost everyone I know has one), but the RRoD was the big reason, other than a lack of money, that I don't own one. I plan on getting one soonish, just as soon as I can save up enough money. (For those of you who are wondering, I did a job for my parents and they bought my PS3... no such luck with getting a 360 though)
