About X Play...I do still watch it sometimes. Still too much comedy in the reviews for my taste, but there really aren't that many shows truly about games on tv. The Sess is awesome, always has been and always will be. Morgan's alright. I'm just glad they got over the schtick where Morgan would insult Adam every 20 seconds and he would quietly agree with her insult while looking at the ground. I just wish they'd give Sess his own show with a format like AotS, but focused completely on games.
I really enjoyed Electric Playground(like I said earlier, just Vic, not Tommy) and G4tv with the two women. I will admit that I watched Filter just for Diane Mizota. Even though it wasn't really about games, I did enjoy Unscrewed with Martin Sargent.
What pissed me off was when they changed the format of G4 as a channel because a channel with only game programs "wasn't working". Although I enjoyed some of the shows they had, it seemed like you could watch 2 weeks of G4, then the next 2 months all you would see were reruns of the same shows you saw the first two weeks. So I guess they were shocked people weren't watching the same exact episode of 6 different shows for weeks on end....
I agree that Munn is attractive, but why watch the show just to see her in low-cut tops? There is a million pics of her on the net showcasing her only talent in much less than she wears on the show. I could see watching the show for her if she were charming, insightful, or funny, but she's not. She does provide some unintentional laughs on occasion, like the sad debacle I mentioned in my first post or the time she pronounced M.C. Hammer as "McHammer".
Put me in charge of G4 and I'd make it a game-only channel AND I could make it work. I don't think I'm some special guy with a talent for running cable channels, but I think anyone with half a brain and a decent grasp on gaming culture could make the only video game-centric channel on tv successful. Sorry Cops the tv show, but you'd have to go. :)
