The only reason they aren't currently being made and we're seeing so many spin offs is that 1) No one expected the success of the Wii to be anywhere near what it is. 2) Devs are still experimenting with the new controls. It really doesn't have anythign to do with whether devs are commting to the system or not.

 Exactly. Yes, big titles are still being made for the PS3 but it isn't like it was decided to do so in the face of crappy sales because of any loyalty or the console's power. It was because the previous console race dictated that Sony would dominate again. Now that they're floundering, we're seeing announcements of a support shift to the Wii. Because games take time to make, we won't be seeing the big third party games until next year and after.
