Doesn't really mean a thing considering everything is cheap over there.   I can give you 150$ and you can rent a apartement and go to a restaurant everyday in Shanghai/Beijing. Try to do that in Western Europe and NA.

How much will a CH-DVD player cost over there?  30/40$? And only 10-20 foreign movies a year may release in China every year.  I don't see the Chinese citizen go buying some Blu Ray player instead of a CH-DVD......It can fails of course.
