HDTV adoption is also up, and it will soon become mandatory because of phasing out of analog TV. The digital downloads market is increasing, but it won't kill physical distribution within the next 10 years. Not everyone has a fast internet connection. |
A 300% incresse of 1 is still 4. And HDTV up? From what I ask. Arbitrary numbers dont prove or show that this is gaining speed.
HD will be more widley accepted in the future. Someone said this before, but people aren't going to convert to HD until they need a new TV. The upgrade isn;t enough for them to run out to the store and get one. BR, however, may die becuase it was pushed to early. What can happen is when a shit can happen, a new company can jump in and steel the spotlight.
