Given the precedents of the last few months in regards to console exclusivity of upcoming games from Square. There is a high probability that the title if exclusive to any one console will be exclusive to the 360. That is just the most likely outcome. There has been far too much good will between Microsoft and Square to be outright ignored. Call it financial incentives if you like, but I suspect that it does go beyond merely that.

Whatever the reason Microsoft seems to be bringing in the Square exclusives at a prodigious rate, and has wrestled exclusivity out of Sony's hands far too often as of late. Were I to wager real money on the outcome of Kingdom Hearts 3 I would lay it on the 360. Unless anyone can find a reasonable explanation as to why it would go to either of the other two consoles.

The Wii having a larger install base seems rather irrelevant to role playing game sales. The Sony tradition for Square seems to have faded off almost entirely. First they talk smack about Sony, and then the strip the greatest exclusive from Sony. Hard to imagine more of a smack in the face.

Before anyone says anything I could give less then a crap about Kingdom Hearts. I never played the previous games, and quite frankly cannot understand the appeal of playing with Disney characters. I find the characters so wholesome that they offend me. Give me Warner Brothers any day. Hell give me Hannah Barbara. Even Harvey toon characters have greater appeal with yours truly. So I think I am about as unbiased as you can get. I would actually see a brand new game instead of seeing this particular franchise get a third.

Well firstly am going to say that KH isn't owned by Square-Enix, but by Disney and I beleive that SE has far less say. As for Square Enix being close to Microsoft, couldn't you say the same thing for Square Enix and Nintendo with the DS.

In a normal rpg maybe, but KH doesn't fit the RPG demograph alone. I'm pretty sure alot of people buy the game just for the Disney characters as well, and it seems to me when a game that appeals to about all age groups, is put on a console that appeals to all age groups the demographs fit very well. I would also like to say that Square Enix said many times that they won't be loyal to any one console, while the PS3 has many multiplat Rpgs from SE and Versus, and the 360 has the multiplats and exclusives, the wii really only seems to have FFCC. Which means that SE would want to establish themselves on the Wii as well. So even if it was SE's decision and not Disney's I would say that there would still be a high chance. Oh and btw Disney was the company that made the second most profits after Nintendo, and that was because most of their games were on the Wii and Ds. so I think they might be bias toward Nintendo.
