Come on Sony....I love HD movies, but, the numbers of adopted HDTV homes is still way too low for this to pan out. Give it time.
I remember I was one of the first to have a DVD player and people were like, "So what's the big deal?". I hear the same when I show people an HD Movie in comparison to DVD. They still say "So, whats the big deal?".
HDTV first....then Blu-Ray players, it's simple math. Out of 10 of my family/friends, it is still a 5/5 ratio for HDTV's to SD. 3 of those SD TV friends said they will just buy the HD signal transfer box, before they buy an HD TV. Why....cause a lot of Americans are Cheap, or smart, however you look at it.
