I have boxes upon boxes in my house. After Civil War and Infinite Crisis (2006-2007), I've sorta stopped. I still buy the occasional trade paperback on occasion. You think video games are expensive?! Try following a big crossover storyline!

I did the same though it happened around 1999... I just lost interest.

I still have 8 or 9 longboxes full of books stored at my father's house.

I feel my interest coming back, though. Profcrab and I are working on a book about superheroes but not really about superheroes. It's been an interesting few days sorting out some of the ideas and today, I actually went and bought my first sketchbook in 5-6 years. It will be nice picking up a pencil again. It's been awhile.

Now I just need to master that stupid fucking Wacom tablet... Pencil and paper FTW, dammit!

indeed

I'm actaully almost in the same boat as you, except i was never a huge comic guy. I read some every now and then, but it never really took off. My friend (not on vgchartz as far as i know) is actually midway through the 4th issue of his comicbook and asked me to do the artwork for it =P.
