Doesn't the Wii have some Chocobo games? That's enough, right???
On a serious note, I don't think Square hates the Wii as much as there just hasn't been a great opportunity to develop a bunch of solid Wii titles. These two PSP titles were originally mobile phone games so it makes sense to bring 'em over to the PSP. FFXIII on 360 makes sense b/c porting from the PS3 isn't difficult. It's not like anything truly new has been announced.
I'm betting that as soon as some of these long in tooth Square finally come out, Square will move some of those developers over to Wii projects. Right now, all their teams are far too busy.

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
