No its not. Millions of people arent going to flock to Apple stores to buy a iPhone just to play the games.
Little kids will not recieve iPhones for christmas as a caming system.
Which is why iPhone is not a real gaming platform or a compitetor. Kids are a big market and they wont want an iPhone they'll say I want a Nintendo or a gamestation Playstation.
