Phantasy Star Universe is the base game but PSP is still technically a new game. PSU had one big flaw that PSP doesn't:you need to pay to play multiplayer in PSU while playing multiplayer is free in PSP. I was hesistant to play the full version of PSU but I played the XBL demo for it and from what I played, it was pretty addicting. However, that doesn't mean I will pay to play the multiplayer. I will pay for play a game if it is an MMO but PSU wasn't an MMO
