The only way the 360 could outsell the PS3 at this point is with a price cut across the board, and that still may not be enough. More likely it would position the 360 to outsell the PS3 next year, especially if they followed up with a second cut in 2009.
However, PS3 fans should note that this difference doesn't eat away nearly enough of the 360's lead. EVen if the PS3 outsells the 360 by 2 million in 2008 and 3 million in 2009, the 360 will still have the edge in world wide sales going into 2010.
