-Resistances antagonists are not interesting and neither is the protagonist. It's a generic cookie cutter game and quite redundant. I have no doubt that it will be more fun than the last game but it doesn't even touch Halo. Halo is a game all of its own with it's own distinct feel. Master Chief is an awesome and I doubt Resistances character could be used in any fun game outside of Resistance as a flagship character. Masterchief is was and always will be Sonys forefront protagonist mascot...a testament to 3rd party dominance on their system over their 1st and 2nd party. Halo has more interesting ranks of creatrues with their own temperments and AI. They don't all fight the same. They talk to each other and run around and change formations to try and kill you. Resistances devs are creating a bunch of creatures that just want to kill and dont have much personality. Halos does. Marcus Fenix is far more interesting than any character in KZ2 or Resistance. He also could be used as a mascot for games.

Gears of War 2 just like 1 gives great visuals and focus into your shots and delivers awesome gore. Part 2 will definitely deliver. It has more to deliver in game. In halo you can knock people off bikes and have arial wars as well as wars on the ground. It's amazing and influential and even you can admit that. If you don't it's really ignorant. I think as far as Shooters are concerned PS3 owners need to fear M.A.G. because it wont hurt 360 games, it'll definitley hurt the sales of other PS3 shooters, like Socom including hogging PSN internet usage with 256 players per map. Running themselves in circles is all Sony is doing. Without clear control of their 3rd party, they are in trouble and you know it.

I'm actually overwhelmed, I'm just not sure how to respond -_-; No?

Having "interesting characters" doesn't make your game unique. Halo had a pretty decent story, I digged the Sci-fi, but man the game was grueling at times, and the multi-player is even more dull. Just no. Knocking people off bikes and all that other nonsense o.O? Again no. The vehicles were terribly implemented, and they were just generally un-interesting. If the entire point of aircraft, is to get yours in the air, and jump into another enemies, for the only sake of taking him out of it, the whole idea could have been avoided period, it's obvious neither of you care about piloting one, just taking someone out of his >_> And don't even get me started on that game's A.I. -_-; It was terrible to say the least. Guys with guns wanted to shoot you, aliens without guns did some wierd shit and eventually tried to kill you, I've seen that in umm.... every game I've ever played :) Kudo's to the guys standing near cover getting shot at who still feel like... standing there... And did they even bother making the enemy respond to grenades o.O? I don't remember them ever noticing...

Marcus fenix was interesting? Wow. I'm an easy pleaser, but you sir take the cake :)

I like the comment about Sony running themselves in circles by introducing games that actually take umm... thought and maybe some form of strategy. I agree entirely, that's no way to hit mass market. Popularity holds no place for intelegence I guess :(
