Why does the 360 sell so well in America?

Dude as true as it is that the Playstation 3 has nothing that can rival up to Gears, please don't bring that Halo 3 bullshit here cause that game was such a sad sequel to such a good game. I think most people would agree with me when I say that the 360 is the console to go to right now for RPGS and PS3 is the one that will be pushing the most shooters this year. Let me explain; Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Socom Confrontation, MAG, The Agency, Metal Gear Solid 4 and plans for a sequel to Uncharted and the release of Bioschock PS3 in the near future. I will actually go as far as agreeing with you if you say that Gears 2 will be a better shooter than most of these games, but as far as sheer shooter titles go, PS3 has alot of games coming really soon.

Also, please don't say that 360 has the games that people want to buy this and that because I have played 80 percent of the million seller 360 games for PC despite owning a 360. I had to get Gears again just to play the extra content.
