Why does the 360 sell so well in America?

And then you have to think of the review system put in place today. A game like GTAIV getting perfect 10's? A game like Mass Effect being 90%+ disregarding it's atrocious technical issues? Dare I say I keep my eye's open for this type of stuff.

Mass Effect deserved every 90%+ rating it was given. Technical issues were what brought it down to the 90 range. The game was an obvious labor of love, and I think nearly all of the 2 million people who bought it would agree that it provided a nearly perfect playing experience, atrocious technical issues and all.
