Many people indeed :P Most of which being informed. But sadly, the informed gamer doesn't make up the bulk of the people buying it.
I'm gonna ask the question just one more time (that's probably a lie I'll mention it again I'm sure), if the 360 worldwide, has more games, more high rated games, more appeal to the mass market, why is America the only country buying it in droves? I think that's what this thread is about.

The games library of the 360 heavily caters to the tastes of American hardcore gamers. That's the simple reason why the 360 is doing well in America, but not in the rest of the world.

Thats my view on it. Realistically I'd say it's both because of marketing and that the 360 has games that fit American tastes better.
