Of course, but he was asking for a setting on the PS3 to do it for him. Whether it is the tv's zoom or the PS3 scalling, some of the movie's original vision will be lost. We lived with it for years on home video to a greater extent until DVD gave us the original letterboxed versions. I can't stand to lose original aspect ratios personally.
