Alright, so I have my PS3 and I'm enjoying blu-ray movies, as well as DVDs that I guess are "upscaled" or whatever. Point is, I play a DVD it takes up my whole HD TV screen. Most blu-ray movies I play for some reason, stay in letter box mode, leaving large black bars at the top and bottom of my screen. I don't see any option in the menu to make it fill up my whole screen, and I want my frikkin movie to fill the whole screen. Other than simply using my TV's "zoom" option, I can't figure out how to get my blu-rays to fill up the whole screen. What's the deal?
